Agar Agar Cookie does not have her own skill. Instead, she borrows the most powerful abilities in the game directly from Legendary Guardians of Nature. That one mechanic changes how you should think about her entire build. Every choice you make — toppings, Beascuit, team — needs to support that mimic loop.

This guide covers how her Ravenous Mirror skill works, the best toppings for each mode, which Beascuit to use, and how to build a team around her so the mimic stays consistent.

How Agar Agar Cookie’s Ravenous Mirror Skill Actually Works

Agar Agar Cookie is an Epic Ambush/Magic Cookie placed in the middle position. She was released during the “Flame Awakens” update alongside Fire Spirit Cookie.

Her skill is called Ravenous Mirror, and the key detail is this: she has no independent skill of her own. She copies the skills of five specific Legendary Guardians of Nature — Fire Spirit, Sea Fairy, Frost Queen, Wind Archer, and Stormbringer.

Here is how the copy mechanic works:

    • If one of those five Legendaries is on your team, she mimics that specific cookie’s skill.
    • If none of them are present, she randomly mimics one of the five.

On top of the mimicked skill, she also gives your allies Immunity to Shackles and reduces enemies’ Attack Speed and Move Speed. That support layer makes her useful even when the mimic result is not ideal.

Her cooldown is 15 seconds. That number matters a lot when you pick toppings, because the faster she cycles, the more often she fires that skill.

Before getting into specifics, one thing worth clarifying: Flaming Toppings are not regular stage drops. You purchase them through the Arcade Arena shop. They are worth the effort because they carry extra substats and resonance bonuses that normal toppings do not have.

    PvP and Arena

For Arena, run a full 5x Flaming Chocolate setup. The goal is to reduce her 15-second cooldown as much as possible so Ravenous Mirror fires constantly. More casts means more mimicked Legendary skills hitting the enemy team.

Target these substats on your Flaming Chocolate toppings:

    • Cooldown % — your top priority
    • Damage Resist — she can be targeted in PvP
    • CRIT — adds damage to the mimicked skill

    PvE and World Exploration

In story stages and world exploration, you have a bit more flexibility. A hybrid setup of 3x Flaming Chocolate + 2x Flaming Raspberry gives you a solid balance between skill uptime and damage output.

If you want to lean harder into damage, a full 5x Flaming Raspberry build is a valid choice. You lose some cooldown, but the attack boost makes the mimicked skills hit harder when they do go off.

    Situational Counter Build

If you are running into other Agar Agar Cookies in Arena and her ATK Speed and Move Speed debuffs are hurting your team, consider swapping to Fresh Kiwi toppings. This is a situational choice only — not a general recommendation. Do not use it as your default build.

    Fallback Options

If you do not have Flaming Toppings yet, standard Swift Chocolate for cooldown or Searing Raspberry for attack are workable until you can access the Arcade Arena shop.

    Beascuit Choice and Substat Priorities

The most recommended Beascuit for Agar Agar Cookie is the Legendary Crispy Beascuit. It provides boosts to both ATK and HP, and it works across most team setups without needing a specific lineup to be useful.

When rolling substats on your Beascuit, focus on these in order:

    1. Cooldown — aligns with your topping goal of faster skill cycling
    2. ATK — scales the damage of mimicked skills
    3. CRIT — adds burst potential
    4. Damage Resist — keeps her alive longer in PvP

If you want to go a step further, try matching the Beascuit’s element to the Legendary Guardian she is mimicking. For example, if your team runs Fire Spirit Cookie, a fire-aligned Beascuit can add a small synergy bonus on top of the standard stats.

Team Compositions That Get the Most From Her Mimic Skill

The biggest risk with Agar Agar Cookie is the random mimic. If no Legendary Guardian of Nature is on your team, she picks one of the five at random. That is unpredictable, and in high-stakes modes, unpredictable is a problem.

The fix is simple: include at least one of the five Guardians on your team. That locks in her mimic target and makes her skill consistent every single cast.

    Sample Team

Here is a well-rounded team that plays to her strengths:

    • Fire Spirit Cookie — Rear position, primary DPS
    • Agar Agar Cookie — Middle position, Support/DPS
    • Crimson Coral Cookie — Front position, Tank
    • Black Sapphire Cookie — Middle position, Support/DPS
    • Mystic Flour Cookie — Rear position, Healer

In this setup, Agar Agar reliably copies Fire Spirit’s skill every 15 seconds. You get consistent elemental damage, the Shackles Immunity buff for your whole team, and the ATK/Move Speed debuff on enemies. Fire Spirit handles raw DPS while Agar Agar doubles down on the same skill type.

She also works well as a flex unit. If you run Sea Fairy or Frost Queen instead, she switches to water or ice mimics. That adaptability is one of her stronger qualities — she can fill damage type gaps depending on who else is on your roster.

Is Agar Agar Cookie Worth Investing In?

The honest answer is: it depends on what content you are playing and what Legendaries you already own.

    Where She Performs Best

She is a strong pick for Arena when you can pair her with a Legendary Guardian of Nature. The Shackles Immunity alone can swing matches, and consistent Legendary skill mimics every 15 seconds add real pressure on the enemy team.

She is also a good fit for Arcade Arena and event modes. Because those formats normalize cookie levels, you do not need to dump heavy resources into her to get value. Pull her, put Flaming Chocolate toppings on her, and she contributes right away.

    Where She Falls Short

Her raw damage output has been noted as underwhelming by some players, especially in end-game PvE content where dedicated DPS cookies hit harder. She is better framed as a Support/DPS hybrid than a primary carry.

Without any of the five Legendary Guardians on your team, her mimic is random. She still functions, but you lose control over what skill fires. That matters in competitive content where predictability is everything.

    Resource Investment Advice

If you already own Fire Spirit, Sea Fairy, Frost Queen, Wind Archer, or Stormbringer, investing in Agar Agar Cookie makes clear sense. She extends the value of those cookies by adding a second copy of their skill to your team.

If you own none of those Legendaries yet, she is harder to justify as a top priority. The random mimic still works, but you are leaving one of her core strengths unused. Consider building out your Guardian lineup first, or treat her as a secondary investment in the meantime.

For players who enjoy researching build strategies across different games, SmallBusinessNiche covers a wide range of practical guides worth bookmarking.

    Quick Summary of Build Choices

    • PvP/Arena toppings: 5x Flaming Chocolate — focus on Cooldown %, Damage Resist, CRIT
    • PvE/Exploration toppings: 3x Flaming Chocolate + 2x Flaming Raspberry, or 5x Flaming Raspberry for pure damage
    • Counter build (situational): Fresh Kiwi against debuff-heavy opponents
    • Beascuit: Legendary Crispy Beascuit — prioritize Cooldown, ATK, CRIT, Damage Resist
    • Team: Always include at least one Legendary
